For the first time since 1977, the Delaware House of Representatives has overridden a governor’s veto on a bill.  Gov. John Carney issued a letter to the General Assembly Tuesday saying he is vetoing House Bill 282, sponsored by Rep. Paul Baumbach, D-Newark.
