MILFORD, Del. — The Milford Public Library will wrap up its 2025 Music in the Park concert series on Wednesday, August 6th, with a double bill of live entertainment featuring the Bryan Scar Band and a special appearance by Lisa Thomas and the Boots on the Ground line dancers.
The free event begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Milford Library Amphitheater in Library Park. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets to enjoy an evening of community entertainment. Food vendors will also be available on site.
Lisa Thomas and her Boots on the Ground group will kick off the evening with a mix of vocal music and choreographed line dancing, bringing an interactive and upbeat opening act to the stage.
At 7 p.m., the Bryan Scar Band will take over with their signature blend of Southern rock, Americana, and blues. The Delmarva-based band has built a regional following with its gritty vocals, heartfelt lyrics, and crowd-pleasing performances.
“This final concert offers the perfect opportunity for families and neighbors to gather and celebrate the end of another great summer of music in Milford,” said organizers from the Milford Public Library, which co-hosts the annual series with the city.
In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved indoors to Jesus Love Temple.
Milford’s Music in the Park series has run weekly throughout the summer, showcasing local and regional talent in a wide range of genres. For more information about the concert or future community events, visit www.cityofmilford.com or milford.lib.de.us.
