First Friday, on July 3, will commemorate the United States of America’s 250th anniversary in Bicentennial Park

MILFORD, DE: July’s First Friday, being hosted at Bicentennial Park at 5 p.m., celebrating our nation’s 250th anniversary.

The event will be hosted at Bicentennial Park on 206 N.E. Front Street and will feature a variety of entertainment. The celebration will serve as a local tribute to the nation’s semi-quincentennial, bringing the community together for an evening of entertainment and patriotism. 

The event will begin at 5 p.m. with a performance of the national anthem followed by a moment of silence.

The rest of the evening will include live music from “DJ Dave,” dance performances, local band “Mike Hines and the Look,” and a laser light show. 

Organizers encourage residents and visitors of all ages to attend and take part in this historic community celebration in downtown Milford. 

Members of the Downtown Milford Incorporated board of directors as well as members of the Milford City Council will be in attendance. Parking will be free for those attending.
