Detectives Investigating Shooting That Left One Man Seriously Injured

The Delaware State Police are currently investigating a shooting that occurred in Magnolia yesterday afternoon that left one man seriously injured.

On January 15, 2023, at approximately 4:03 p.m., troopers responded to Lambert Drive in Meadowbrook Acres regarding a man who had been shot. Troopers contacted the 32-year-old victim, who had been shot in his abdomen an unknown number of times. The victim was flown to an area hospital for emergency surgery, where he is currently in stable condition.

No one else was harmed during this incident. There is no suspect information available, and the circumstances and motive surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.

The Delaware State Police Troop 3 Criminal Investigations Unit continues to investigate this case. Troopers are asking anyone who witnessed this incident to contact Detective S.
