Goldey-Beacom College (GBC) proudly announces a celebration of its 50th Anniversary in Pike Creek on Friday, October 6, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in the Event Center on campus.

Founded in 1886, and originally located at the corner of 10th and Jefferson streets in downtown Wilmington, Goldey-Beacom College moved to its current location in Pike Creek, Delaware in 1974. With 2024 marking this incredible milestone, and in addition to the October 6 celebration, GBC has launched a special initiative to create a lasting impact in our community.

The College is inviting alumni, families, friends and the community at large to join in commemorating 50 years of success with a contribution of $50. The funds raised from this campaign will go directly toward student scholarships and other areas of greatest need.

Donations will not only honor the College’s legacy but also fuel its mission to continue making a difference in the lives of students for the next 50 years and beyond.

The $50 campaign includes a $2,500 match from GBC President Colleen Perry Keith.

To attend, request your invitation at [email protected]. You’ll receive a special RSVP link to attend at no charge.

The 50th Anniversary officially kicks off the College’s October 6 – 8 Homecoming Weekend. Packed with sports games and activities, the weekend promises to deliver a nostalgic look back as well as an address from President Colleen Perry Keith with an insightful look forward.
