On Thursday, Aug. 31, the Heritage Shores Military Club (HSMC) of Bridgeville, Del. presented a check supporting the TidalHealth Nanticoke Veterans Care Fund to Kathryn Fiddler, DNP, MBA, RN, Vice President of Population Health at TidalHealth, and members of TidalHealth Nanticoke’s Patient Care Management team who accepted the check on behalf of the TidalHealth Foundation.
This fund helps veterans at TidalHealth Nanticoke who may need support with medications, transportation, medical equipment and other items to help them be discharged safely to home. The HSMC and TidalHealth Nanticoke’s Patient Care Management team also work together to help local veterans and their families become familiar with the benefits they earned while serving our country. Patient Care Management connects patients with the HSMC to provide veteran services and support including helping them sign up for VA health care and other benefits they may be eligible for.
“As a veteran myself, I am deeply grateful for our continued partnership with the HSMC and the services they provide to our patients at TidalHealth Nanticoke,” said Dr. Fiddler.
The TidalHealth Foundation extends its sincerest thanks to the HSMC for its continued support of our local patients and veterans. To learn how you can help make a difference for patients in our community, visit tidalhealth.org/foundation.
