TidalHealth Nanticoke’s 2nd Quarter 2023 Team Members of the Quarter

Cyrena Mumford of Central Processing is TidalHealth Nanticoke’s 2nd Quarter 2023 Team Member of the Quarter for Administrative and Support Services.

Mumford has been part of Central Processing for the last seven years. Currently, you’ll find her primarily in the decontamination area. As you might expect, this is one of the most difficult areas in which to work, but Mumford’s personality always keeps it interesting and enjoyable. Even with an increase in surgical volumes, Mumford makes it look easy. She loves what she does and does it very well.
Professional Services: Christine Petrone, Laboratory
Christine Petrone of the Laboratory is TidalHealth Nanticoke’s 2nd Quarter 2023 Team Member of the Quarter for Professional Services.

Petrone worked closely with Gabe, a recent graduate of the Project SEARCH program at TidalHealth Nanticoke. She communicated well with him and quickly made him feel comfortable with all his responsibilities. She did a great job motivating him and she was always there to answer his questions. She always kept a smile on his face and truly made him feel like part of the team. Gabe’s Lab rotation was successful because of Petrone’s support. 

Nursing Services: Katrina Antezana, Allen Cancer Center
Katrina “Kat” Antezana of TidalHealth’s Allen Cancer Center is a TidalHealth Nanticoke 2nd Quarter 2023 Team Member of the Quarter for Nursing Services.

Antezana is always pleasant and provides excellent patient care. She likes celebrating events and holidays with her team members and patients. She will come in early to decorate the Chemotherapy/Infusion area to create a festive atmosphere for patients and staff to enjoy. She also enjoys improvement projects and is currently a member of a multidisciplinary process improvement group.

Nursing Services: Ciara Hynes, Clinical Decision Unit
Ciara Hynes of the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) is a TidalHealth Nanticoke 2nd Quarter 2023 Team Member of the Quarter for Nursing Services.

Hynes is an exceptional case nurse. She is flexible and always willing to change her schedule and work four days a week to accommodate cases on a weekly basis if needed. She advocates for case patients and goes above and beyond for them to get the care they need when they need it.
