TRAFFIC ALERT – New Castle County – I-95/896 Construction to Begin / Starting Sunday, May 7th

Newark — The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces that with the start of the construction project on the evening of Sunday, May 7th, there will be a series of lane and ramp closures associated with traffic control set-up and preliminary construction work occurring throughout the week of May 7th through May 12th, 2023.

Sunday May 7th: Multi-lane overnight closure on SB I-95 between Rt 72 and the Rt 896 interchange, from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am.

Monday May 8th & Tuesday May 9th:

· Single overnight right lane closure on SB I-95 in the vicinity of the Rt 896 interchange, from8:00 pm to 6:00 am. [More]
