TRAFFIC ALERT – New Castle County – Traffic Switch on Rt 299 in Middletown / Starting Monday, July 24th

Middletown — The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces to motorists that they should expect lane closures on Route 299 Monday, July 24th through Wednesday, July 26th from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am each night, so crews can switch traffic into the next phase of the project between Rt 1 and Cleaver Farms Road. The switch will move motorists to the outside of the roadway in both directions so the contractor can work in the center of the roadway.
