Georgetown- The Delaware Department of Transportation announces the closure of Briarwood Road between Sand Hill Road and Shingle Point Road starting on Monday, January 30th through Friday, February 17th (weather pending) for the installation of a cross road pipe.

Detour: Motorists traveling eastbound on Briarwood Road will instead travel south on Sand Hill Road through the new roundabout to US 9 (Lewes Georgetown Highway) where they will turn left. Motorists will continue on US 9 to Shingle Point Road where they will turn left, traveling back to Briarwood Road. [More]
