On Thursday, October 12 at 9:00AM, WSFS Bank and Sunday Breakfast Mission officially kicks off the Annual Great Thanksgiving Food Drive. Rodger Levenson, Chairman, President and CEO, and Vernita Dorsey, Senior Vice President, Director of Community Strategy, join Rev Tom Laymon, Senior Pastor/CEO/President, Sunday Breakfast Mission to set a goal to gather 30,0001bs of food by January 1.

Over 21 years, WSFS Bank and Sunday Breakfast Mission have collected food for 1.3M meals for families in need. But right now, Sunday Breakfast Mission has seen a substantial increase in the demand for food and the food boxes from this time last year. Food donations have lagged this year. Community food donations to Sunday Breakfast Mission make up the vast majority of the food that is provided to families with low income.

We are so grateful to WSFS Bank sponsoring once again. Grocery bags will be available through the News Journal beginning 10/08/2023, Newark Post beginning 10/13/2023, and Cecil Whig beginning 10/11/2023. We hope that thousands of Delawareans will fill the bags and bring them to their local WSFS Bank.
